The Jibraan chaudhary Sepsis research foundation

The foundation is a registered charity in England and Wales (charity number 1211737). We feel that this is important as it provides credibility, guardrails and a framework by which we can govern our organisation.

Our trustees, all work for the Foundation voluntarily and no operational costs for the Foundation will be taken from any donations. The trustees have been appointed both for the skills they will bring to the organisation, as well as their personal connection to Jibraan.

Our Purpose

To raise money to fund innovative and cutting-edge medical research to mange and treat chemotherapy-associated sepsis for patients of leukemia and other cancers. By doing so, build a lasting legacy for our son Jibraan Nveed Chaudhary.

Our Trustees

“I hope to use both my professional experience and network within medical research to find the world’s best research groups to find novel management and treatment options for sepsis. My passion for medical research and to build a successful legacy in my son’s name, give me an immense drive to ensure that only the best research is funded and that chemotherapy-associated sepsis can become a thing of the past for leukemia patients”

Dr. Nveed Chaudhary, Chairperson

“As a trustee responsible for financial management, I bring many years of experience in financial and project oversight within multinational organisations, including the pharmaceutical sector and educational foundations. I am deeply committed to honouring Jibraan’s legacy by ensuring the foundation runs with integrity, transparency, and compliance at its core. My role is to guide the foundation’s financial and governance responsibilities, empowering it to achieve its mission of advancing cutting-edge research. Together, we strive to create meaningful change and make a lasting impact in advancing research and treatment for chemotherapy-associated sepsis.”

Kashif Mumtaz, Project & Financial management

“I have over ten years of experience in organising, promoting and hosting fundraising events for charities whose activities range from building homes, school and hospitals for the poor in developing countries to raising awareness of breast cancers in the UK’s ethnic communities. As a DJ on local community radio shows in Southampton, Glasgow and national coverage in the UK, I have built a network of emerging and established artists that I hope to get involved with the JCSR Foundation and raise as much as possible to help build my son’s legacy.”

Samra Chaudhary, Marketing & Fundraising

“I aim to leverage my experience and knowledge to guide the JCSR Foundation in becoming a charity that projects my younger cousin’s story and preserves his legacy of strength. Drawing from my background in fundraising, I am committed to raising essential funds for those battling similar illnesses. My goal for JCSR Foundation is to provide patients with greater treatment options and to contribute to the resources needed for advancing life-saving developments within the industry.”

Tania Dowlah, Trustee

“I am extremely proud to be working as a trustee for the JCSR Foundation and supporting such an important cause. Nveed has been a close friend for many years, and to be able to support him and his family in creating this legacy for Jibraan is an immense honour. With a background in engineering R&D, and having previously developed medical devices and diagnostic equipment, I hope my experience and knowledge can be utilised to further progress the activities of the JCSR Foundation. I am looking forward to the journey ahead.”
