Benevity & Gift Aid


Benevity is an exciting platform allowing for employees in companies where it is implemented, to donate to a charity of their choice directly through payroll.
Having registered and qualified to be incorporated within the Benevity platform, the Jibraan Chaudhary Sepsis Research Foundation now is an option for employees to choose.
Many companies who have implemented the Benevity platform also match their employee’s donations, thereby doubling the donation amount.
Please check to see if your employer is registered in Benevity to maximize donations to the JCSR Foundation.
Gift Aid is a UK government scheme that lets us claim an extra 25p for every £1.00 you donate. Once you have signed up to Gift Aid, we claim the tax back on your donation. We have been registered with Gift Aid since January 16th 2025.
It does not cost you anything to sign up for Gift Aid.
You can apply Gift Aid to your donations if: 1) you are a UK taxpayer, 2) the money or items you donate to us belong to you, 3) the tax you pay is at least equal to all your donations to any charity.
You can sign up to gift aid in one of four ways:
- Complete our online Gift Aid form and submit.
- When you make a donation through our Donation page, you will be presented with a Gift Aid form. Filling this in will allow us to claim back on your donations for the next four years.
- Email us at admin@jcsr.org.uk and we can email you a Gift Aid form for you to complete and send back.
- If you use our Try Booking tools for our events, you will be presented with a Gift Aid form.
Please remember to fill in a Gift Aid form if you are eligible, allowing us to effectively increase your donation by 25%
